Strawberry cake


I like the strawberry cake. It is light and with lots of strawberries.


3 eggs
1 cup of all-purpose flour
2 spoons of baking powder
3/4 cup of caster sugar and a bit to sprinkle
1/2 cup of melted butter
250 g of strawberries


Preheat the oven to 180 C. In a large bowl combine the eggs with sugar. Add flour and baking powder and mix well. After that add the melted butter. Place the batter in a greased pan. On the top put the halves of strawberries. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. When the cake is done, leave it to cool for 5 minutes and transfer to a plate. At the end sprinkle the top of the cake with caster sugar.
